7/6/2023 0 Comments Google cardboard vr desktop![]() As we pointed out earlier, most people don’t want to invest heavily in a headset when they’ve already got a decent mobile headset at home. It’s no surprise that there are problems with the app this early in development, especially when none of the larger heavy investors have presented a viable solution either. ![]() The developer discourages users from purchasing VR games just for VRidge.īut the progress on the VRidge app gives a lot of credence to the idea of a budget solution before we start seeing desktop specific budget VR hardware. You can head over to RiftCat’s blog post to see more details on how games like Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Elite: Dangerous work using VRidge. While problems like rendering glitches, blurry text, extra loading times, or lag are present, there’s confidence that the app now provides a relatively pleasant experience. The PinchVR system consists of two parts: a smartphone case which allows the user to wear their smartphone as a VR device (like Google Cardboard, which enables 30 VR systems ), and two motion sensitive input devices. However, the company assures users that it’s now reached a level where it’s more likely to work than not. Beta means a lot of things, and stability is usually not one of them. Update Google Chrome now to protect yourself from an urgent security bug Google’s latest anti-spam change helps clean up your calendar My grammar is not the best.Google’s new privacy tool lets you know if your personal info was leaked I hope i could help you to kill words like idiotic and whiny from your vocabulary. I respect the decision of the developer but i can not understand why someone will lose market share when he could have a monopoly. With including a mode for people who don´t want to buy a rift or a vive, he could arrive much much more people. Yes, they have a faster refreshing rate and they have a nice room-scaling but i could use it maybe for one or two hours a day and thats not enough for this price. Except room-scaling, that is really nice. I had HMDs like that on my head, about 15 years ago and they aren´t a revolution. There are reasons to buy a rift or vive for sure, but for me there is no reason to pay 700+ euro for that. Google Cardboard or his pendants of plastic are much cheaper and if you have a phone like me, they will have a much cleaner resolution than the "actual vr headset". (Maybe the Rift and Vive a little bigger, which will result in a smaller ppi) ![]() PSVR has about 386ppi, Rift and Vive about 433ppi, my phone 534ppi with nearly the same display size. I am delighted that i maybe can clean up some mysteries in your brain. One guy whining that it isn't free, another that it doesn't work with Google Cardboard, Seriously? WTF? Dude, get a J O B and save some money up and buy AN ACTUAL VR HEADSET. They've got to be a couple kids in their mom's basement. Regardless of the google cardboard not being able to work I'll still buy the product and wait for either a mod or an update to release a version for cardboard. He's made no promises to anyone asking about google cardboard and it isn't his responsiblity to go out of his way BEFORE he releases the product to appeal to two people. ![]() The dev his trying his best on the product he made. Why dont just include a simple SBS output which then is streamed to a phone? I just dont get it !! ![]() knows why), and tridef is overpriced and outdated. Your software could be the solution to use much more games - because 3D vision doesnt have SBS output (who the f. And thats enough to test and play around, until real VR gets better and cheaper. And now you LIMIT IT TO "real" 3D glasses like Vive and Oculus? Why? So many people out there use a cardboard with a high res phone like LG G3. Originally posted by IC Katana:No?
